My Store UA100 - American IPA - 10L All Grain Kit
This recipe is named after the flight with United Airlines between Chicago (my hometown) and Sydney. I created it attempting to model one of my favourite brews at the time, Strata Amarillo IPA from Pirate Life Brewing. I was enjoying a good brew outside at the time, white I was manning the BBQ, and had a moment to thank the Universe that I was in such a good position. The beer itself is pretty simple, and the only real complexity to it is the depth of Strata, and the support flavours of Amarillo. Other than that, is almost a SMaSH. Give it a go and really discover what these hops are all about. I made the recipe early on in my brewing days, and it actually turned out quite well every time. It is a great beer for sitting outside and taking a moment to enjoy life. Our all-grain kits are our own tried and tested recipes for classic and modern beer styles. Included in the kit are all the ingredients needed to make beer using a standard BIAB (Brew in a Bag) setup such as our BIAB Starter kit, or your preferred equipment such as a Grainfather. Bestmalz Vienna per kg
Vienna malt or Helles malt is the characteristic grain of Vienna lager and although it generally takes up only ten to fifteen percent of the grain bill in a beer, it can be used as a base malt. It has sufficient enzymatic power to self-convert, and it is somewhat darker and kilned at a higher temperature than Pilsner malt. Vienna malt is kiln dried at a higher temperature than pale malt yet still retains sufficient enzyme power for use as 60 to 100% of total mash grist. The Hop + Grain Viking Kveik IPA - Extract Recipe Kit
Velkommen to the land of the Viking! This recipe features a special ingredient, going by the name of Kveik in its Nordic homeland. A traditional farmhouse ale yeast, it's sailed from the frosts of the Arctic to make its home in the Aussie sun. And it loves hot temperatures – even a scorching Australian summer! Between 25° and 40°C, it will ferment out in about 2 to 3 days. So, although it was raised in Norway, it was born to journey south. We’ve used Citra hops to enhance the subtle citrus aromas provided by the Kveik yeast. Bitterness is restrained yet balanced, leaving a refreshing finish. Skol! Recipe contains Coopers Canadian Blonde, Light malt extract, flavour booster, light crystal malt, citra hops and Kviek Yeast This is a 22l recipe for our 25 litre fermentors or any other 25 litre vessel.
