True artists don’t listen to the opinions of the masses, and are relentless in the search for perfection in their craft. Imagine if we all stopped reinventing the toilet! We’d have the luxury of still using a hole in the ground! This recipe is that futile, yet inevitable, quest for perfection.
Using the OG Oatmeal Stout recipe the Shop has had for years; I’ve tweaked it slightly to accentuate the creamy flavours from the OG Oatmeal Stout. The extra Rolled Oats, addition of Gladfield’s Big O, and use of Lallemand’s Nottingham yeast, gives the recipe extra creaminess. And the Vanilla pods give the recipe something to separate it from all the others!
Our all-grain kits are our own tried and tested recipes for classic and modern beer styles. Included in the kit are all the ingredients needed to make beer using a standard BIAB (Brew in a Bag) setup such as our BIAB Starter kit, or your preferred equipment such as a Grainfather. You will also need a set of scales for measuring hops.
All our all-grain kits contain a milled grain bill, hops, yeast, as well as a recipe card.
