Description
Australia has deep roots connecting itself with the English, and the beer here down under should reflect that! ESB stands for English Style Bitter, which is one of the oldest styles of beers out there, and has a malty background, even bitterness, and clean hop flavour. No dry hop, no fancy frills, and goes down like water off a ducks back.
This recipe uses special x for a bit of complexity, and light chocolate for nailing in the colour. Traditional English yeast and hops give it the flavour you know from traditional ESB’s. The 5.9% ABV gives it my American twist! Session-able all 4 seasons, give it a go whenever!
Our all-grain kits are our own tried and tested recipes for classic and modern beer styles. Included in the kit are all the ingredients needed to make beer using a standard BIAB (Brew in a Bag) setup such as our BIAB Starter kit, or your preferred equipment such as a Grainfather. You will also need a set of scales for measuring hops.
All our all-grain kits contain a milled grain bill, hops, yeast, as well as a recipe card.
