Galaxy is probably the most famous hop in Australia. I’m willing to bet that every pale ale (9/10 at least) uses Galaxy in Australia. It is an absolute powerhouse.
My inspiration for this beer was born out of using the Norwegian yeast Kveik (pronounced Ka-wi-k) and the lovey fruit flavours and esters it produces.
This beer really shows how a hop and yeast pairing can complement one another. The potency of the Kviek, balanced by the potency of the Galaxy. This is a beauty of a beer and if you’re learning the ins and outs of recipe development, I highly recommend this recipe to help you understand the tastes of both. Cheers
Our all-grain kits are our own tried and tested recipes for classic and modern beer styles. Included in the kit are all the ingredients needed to make beer using a standard BIAB (Brew in a Bag) setup such as our BIAB Starter kit, or your preferred equipment such as a Grainfather. You will also need a set of scales for measuring hops.
All our all-grain kits contains a milled grain bill, hops, yeast, and any other items required for the style (such as kettle finings, spices, brewing salts), as well as a recipe card.
