Riwaka Pale Ale – 20L All Grain Kit

Our all grain kits are our own tried and tested recipes for classic and modern beer styles. Included in the kit are all the ingredients needed to make 20L using a standard BIAB (Brew in a Bag) setup such as our BIAB Starter kit, or your prefered equipment such as a Grainfather. You will also need a set of scales for measuring hops.

All our all-grain kits contains a milled grain bill, hops, yeast, and any other items required for the style (such as kettle finings, spices, brewing salts), as well as a recipe card.

Ale Malt, Chit Wheat, Wheat Malt, Dark Munich, Rice Hulls

Warrior and Riwaka hops

Windsor Yeast

The Style:

Who doesn’t love a refreshing beverage, let alone an adult beverage? This beer was inspired by long days and warm nights, and the warm and fuzzy feeling you get on a Summer’s Day.

Having done this recipe with over 7 hops, it seems the shop has settled on Riwaka being the best of the 7 so far.

The beer is balanced, not overly bitter, and an absolute citrus eruption, leading to a nearly knee wobbling smooth finish.

The chit wheat really shines in this recipe, and does, indeed, give a ‘velvety’ mouthfeel.  But why keep reading this when you could be DRINKING this???
